"BERKLEY/FFI LAUNCHES NEW TRAINING PROGRAM"

Who says you can’t teach old dogs new tricks? If equipped with the proper paraphernalia and the right learning attitude, you can still improve on what seemed to be rusty skills. This is exactly what Berkley International Life and Plans and Family First, Inc. is aiming at – an enhancement of skills taught to managers of the company – through the MANAGERS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (MDP), a unique training program launched recently at the Westin Philippine Plaza with the event called “Crossroads.”

During the launch, Berkley and Family First managers were made to get into the core of their strengths and weaknesses. The Learning Ultra Behavioral Impact for Development or LUBID trainors, one of the country’s leading consultancy groups, facilitated various physical activities that tested the group’s teamwork as well as each person’s spontaneous decision-making process.

This 16-week program would enable the company’s managers to assess new directions in their various fields of expertise and be equipped with the proper managerial skills to reach certain goals. Not only is teamwork being molded into the characters of the corporate leaders, there is also the objective of humbling managers as they realize that they are indeed parts of one whole – a Mastermind Alliance.

Also, the MDP takes the principles of the basic training and has given it more depth and worth, garnering a deeper appreciation of the managers’ training roots.

With Berkley and Family First’s MDP, there will definitely be a sustained growth in the company as well as progress for the country. After all, a leader is as much of a follower than the next down the corporate ladder.
