Family First, Inc. (FFI), the exclusive distributor of Berkley International Plans, Inc. (BIP), recently inaugurated its newest sales office at the 2nd Level of SM Fairview. The ceremonial ribbon was cut by Guest of Honor and Speaker, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairperson Atty. Lilia R. Bautista.

In her speech, SEC Chair Bautista stressed the importance of pre-need and cited commendable achievements by the company. The opening of the SM Fairview branch is in line with the company’s mission of providing financial security to the Filipino family through superior corporate performance and diversified product offerings. FFI SM Fairview branch further reinforces the company’s ability to meet its financial commitments to customers as evidenced already by the PRS Aplus rating given to it by the Philippine Rating Services Corporation.

BIP recorded P1.5 Billion in sales last 2002. It has maintained its stature as one of the Top 5 pre-need companies in educational plans and overall in the pre-need industry in terms of new business for the last three years. With this financial prudence, FFI was one of the first pre-need companies to comply with the SEC’s new capital requirement of P100 Million.

FFI-SM Fairview is Berkley’s fifth now in Metro Manila. Other Berkley/FFI branches are in SM Megamall, The Enterprise Center, SM North EDSA and SM Southmall in Las Pinas.
