LIBRENG BAHAY, BAGONG BUHAY WINNER


   Mr. Brendo Zapanta (4th from left) receives a symbolic key from Family First, Inc. (FFI), exclusive marketing agent of Berkley International Philippines, Inc., for the house and lot he won in FFI's "Libreng Bahay, Bagong Buhay" Grand Raffle Draw held last 23 Dec. 2001. Among thousands of entries, Mr. Zapanta's name was picked and verified by the DTI Representative as the winner of a 159-sq.m. house and lot in Santarosa Estates II in Laguna costing 2.8 MILLION PESOS, tax-free. Developer is Laguna Properties Holdings, Inc.

This brings to almost ONE HUNDRED TWELVE (112) MILLION PESOS the total amount of prizes given away by Family First for raffles and promotions in just four years. Mr. Zapanta, a businessman, received the key together with his wife, Emy, who is a bank manager in Escolta. He said he is overwhelmed at winning the grand prize even if he did not buy any plan from Berkley. This, according to Mr. Zapanta, proves true the company's claim that everybody, whether planowner or not, has an equal chance to win. Mr. Zapanta admits to being religious and has attributed his winning primarily to a series of novenas he was saying at around the time he was approached in the mall and invited for a sales presentation.
