BERKLEY & FAMILY FIRST DONATE MORE COMPUTERS FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS


Berkley International Plans (BIP) and Family First, Inc. (FFI), through the two companies’ social responsibility flagship project, E.D.U.C.A.T.I.O.N. or Enlightenment and Direction Using Computers And Tutorials for an Innovative natiON, recently donated sets of computers to three public schools. Beneficiaries of the most recent donations are 15 th Avenue Elementary School in Cubao, Quezon City, San Jose Elementary School in Baliuag, Bulacan and Sto. Cristo Elementary School in Pulilan, Bulacan. Through this partnership with DepEd’s Adopt-a-School Program, Berkley and Family First hope to open wide the doors of information technology to public school students not only in the metropolis but in neighboring provinces as well. Aside from giving away computer units, the program includes free computer tutorials and training sessions for teachers and students. Berkley is one of the leading pre-need companies in the company, ranking 2 nd in January sales for educational plans in terms of new business.
