Effective February 15, 2007, pre-need giant Berkley International Plans, Inc. and its distributor, Family First, Inc., will move to their new Corporate Headquarters at the 4th Floor of Equitable Bank Tower at #8751 Paseo de Roxas, Makati City. All departments formerly housed at the Enterprise Center also in Paseo de Roxas will move to its spanking new office at Equitable Bank Tower to accommodate more visitors and to better serve its customers. To also further beef up its information technology capabilities, the Information Services Division of the company has earlier moved its operations to one of the country’s IT hubs, the Cyberone in Eastwood City, Libis, Quezon City.
Berkley Plans is a major player in the pre-need industry, garnering in 2006 more than 50% of the total market share in terms of new sales in educational plans. Consistently placing among the Top 5 in terms of new business, Berkley has a client base of close to one hundred thousand planowners. Family First has branches in SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City, SM Southmall in Las Piñas, SM North Edsa and SM Fairview in Quezon City and SM City in San Fernando, Pampanga.
