BERKLEY/FAMILY FIRST embarks on a new corporate thrust as it plays a more active role in advancing education in the country.

Yes, indeed, on top of our traditional Christmas drives, we bring our corporate donation undertakings a few notches higher by getting involved in projects that will impact education directly.

First in the line-up is a partnership with the Department of Education’s Adopt-a-School Program, through which we have recently donated ten full sets of computers to Commonwealth National High School (CNHS).

Mr. Crescencio Viernes, school principal, and Luie Dy Buncio, Berkley/FFI president, joyously sealed their commitment of supporting educators and making education an integrated experience during the Deed of Donation signing witnessed by DepEd’s Adopt-a-School Program Officer-in-Charge Aurora Felizardo.

Through this partnership with DepEd’s Adopt-a-School Program, Berkley/FFI hopes to open wide the doors of information technology to our high school students in the metropolis, thus, ensuring that they are not left behind when it comes to the knowledge and skills needed to cope with our increasingly computerized world. We certainly hope the computers will go a long way in helping our first beneficiaries from the CNHS to prepare better for college as well as work.
